Terms of Service

These terms apply to photography sessions and personalized collectible-card products provided by Rookie Edition Studio in San Diego County.

Bookings and authorization

Sessions are confirmed with an authorized adult representative. A parent or legal guardian must provide consent for each participating minor and must approve that athlete's personalized cards before production.

Payments

• Team bookings: 30% deposit reserves the date; the remaining balance is due seven days before the session.
• Individual bookings: 50% deposit reserves the date; the remaining balance is due before the session.
• Production does not begin until required balances and approvals are complete.

Proofs and approval

Every personalized card is delivered as a private digital proof before production. The parent or guardian reviews the athlete's name, jersey number, position, team, photograph, Rookie Story information, optional statistics and complete card design before production. One correction round is included. Printing begins only after final approval.

Each approval records the guardian name, athlete name, date and time, approved design version, and confirmation that spelling, photograph, Rookie Story information, optional statistics and design were reviewed.

Photography

Rookie Edition Studio makes a reasonable effort to photograph every participating athlete during scheduled coverage, but a specific play, pose or action image cannot be guaranteed. If no suitable action image is captured, a professionally posed Hero Card may be substituted.

Product

Each participating athlete receives one sealed pack containing exactly 10 physical, double-sided cards across seven collectible designs: two Personal Rookie Cards, two Action/Hero Cards, two Team Cards, one Head Coach Card, one Team Moments Card, one Limited Edition Card and one Season Story Card. A card's front and back are two sides of one physical card, not two separate cards. Cards are standard premium trading-card size, 2.5 × 3.5 inches, rounded corners, full-color and double-sided on premium coated cardstock. Final stock and finish options are subject to print-vendor confirmation.

Intellectual property

Rookie Edition Studio retains copyright in its photographs and card designs. Guardians receive the delivered physical cards and the digital cards saved in their Card Vault for personal, non-commercial use. No professional-league logos or protected team branding are used in Rookie Edition designs.

Taxes

Physical personalized cards are included in the service packages, and checkout is structured so applicable California sales tax can be calculated on qualifying amounts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
